We are located in the heart of downtown Redding inside the historic Lorenz Hotel.  Whether you are a local or just passing through, we are known for our welcoming and home style atmosphere.

The four story Lorenz Hotel was built in 1901 and lacks no amount of remarkable history. The beautifully restored red brick building is now home to senior citizens and has 70 rooms. The architectural character provides an old time atmosphere that can't be replicated. You'll find us inside on the first floor with comfortable booth and table seating, tall ceilings and a cozy upstairs loft.

We offer a specialty coffee menu featuring the award-winning "Equator Coffee". Open 7 days a week, 7am- 2pm we consistently provide breakfast and lunch for the Redding area. Voted best breakfast, our menu includes 15 different omelettes, an unique variety of eggs benedicts and flavorful options for our sweeter clientele.

Owner, Karline Niver, got her start in Red Bluff, CA with her first restaurant The Snack Box. Her style is unlike most with her witty sense of humor and ability to make anyone feel at home. She runs her businesses, as she does her life "Be good to people. You will be remembered more for your kindness than any level of success you could possibly attain."

Karline also owns Karline's Restaurant & Bar, which is highly regarded for its decadent dishes and romantic ambiance.
